I’m a theatre-maker/actor/comedian based in Brooklyn by way of Cleveland. Ever evolving, right now the work I’m interested in parodies, celebrates, and dissects celebrity/pop culture, collective grief, communal rituals, strip malls as late stage capitalism, and anything else that catches my eye. Recent theater work includes acting in The Birds by Sarah Goldman and Nigel Berkeley at IRT and directing the upcoming The Spaghetti Variable with Mitchell Ashe at The Tank in Winter 2024, as well as Chekhov's The Seagull on my roof in Bushwick during Summer 2024.My recent work in comedy has included devising and performing in the main stage residency show at Brooklyn Comedy Collective (BCC), In Jug We Trust; writing, producing, and hosting The Wig Pageant Variety Hour, a “John Waters-meets-QVC” monthly character comedy pageant; and performing character/improv comedy at venues like BCC, The Magnet Theater, Caveat, and others. As a storyteller, I have performed all over New York (and once in Chicago, giving me the title of a Story Slam Champion with The Moth, long story, do ask). I am also the managing director of The Smoke n’ Shake Theater, a Brooklyn-based cannabis Shakespeare theater-of-the-senses ensemble, as well as the co-founder of the Quarantine Bake Off, a virtual playwriting competition founded in March 2020 that garnered over 5000 submissions worldwide inspired by Paula Vogel's bake offs. Passionate about community solidarity, reality television, Cleveland, increasing economic accessibility to the arts, dinner parties, and, of course, aging actresses.
